A Letter of Thanks

After an extended stay in Phnom Penh following the GLA Conference, the remaining members of the G.H Forwarding team returned to China yesterday.

For G.H Forwarding we feel it was a successful conference in Phnom Penh, the capitol of Cambodia, being able to meet many agents big and small from around the world.

The conference was very well organised and the support staff was always on hand to lend a helping hand for any issues.

 

As with the previous conference in Shenzhen last year, you could see the meticulous planning involved in getting everyone together and also the closeness of the founder, Ms. Grace Sun, who again added a personal touch by taking the time to go around and speaking to everyone throughout the conference.

The banquette was a chance to add some culture into the conference with some Cambodian dancers giving a performance for everyone to savour and remember and throughout, there were presentations and prizes – and for once, I was a lucky winner! 🙂

It was also an honour to go around all the tables with Grace, Mr. Wang Derong (the former Vice President of the China Transport Association) and also GLA VIP members from ACE Global (Australia and New Zealand offices).

All in all, I feel it was a great conference at a great location and I feel that a lot of people at the conference will be winding down back in their respective countries and working on developing the new ties made.

 

So to finish….

 

Thank you GLA for the arrangement – without which, it would not be so successful.

 

Thank you to all the agents who participated, without you there would be no Conference.

Rainy Season in Guangzhou.

“Another day off I take, I guess the sun had the same idea and now we have a break. It’s a rainy day, but I love it.”

 

The water comes down, the forecast is a thunderstorm warning every day, the sun take a month off in Guangzhou, should we still love it???

At half past three on 5th May, the feeder, named “Yue Qing Yuan Huo 6289” from Zhuhai to Yanan, sunk because of heavy winds and rainstorm .

After receiving the report, the Zhuhai Maritime Safety Administration urgently dispatched a maritime law enforcement ship named “Hai Xun 09172” to the scene of the distress and quickly organized the rescue.

At half past four, three distressed crew members successfully rescued!

The maritime department reminded that at present, Guangdong is suffering from thunderstorms and windy weather, and the sea conditions are complicated. All ships should pay close attention to weather forecasting and early warning measures to ensure the safety of navigation operations.

Belt and Road Forum Ningbo Fair

The 2018 “Belt and Road” Port Cooperation Summit Forum & The 2nd China(Ningbo) International Shipping Logistics held in Ningbo during 10th Dec – 12nd Dec is successfully concluded. GH Forwarding is also part of it as a member.

For this time, the fair set up different exhibition halls with different themes like“Belt and Road”Sea, Land and Air port, well-known international & domesticlogistics company, mainly shipping business in the Yangtze River Delta and the Economic Zone, logistics enterprise.

The fair lasted 3 days, many logistics companies gathered together to communicated about the opportunities to cooperate and develop. This is a valuable chance for those who came to the fair to learn and share. Every company had its own booth,  and of course GH Forwarding was present.  We also met a lot of friends from the other companies, our booth was verypopular during the fair time. We have a Strong and complete development system, we don’t just focus on domestic opportunities, we are also trying our best to promote ourselves to everywhere in the world, just like what the theme of the fair is, “Active Integration Into The Belt And Road Linking China Connecting The World”. Thanks for supporting us for now or for the future, no matter where or when, we are always by your side!

China will import more Tropical Fruit from the Philippines

On 20th  Nov 2018, President Xi paid a state visit to the Philippines. This is the second visit of the Chinese head of state 13 years later and also the first visit of President Xi to the Philippines. Therefore, this state visit is a milestone in enhancing China-Philippines relations.

So what can we benefit from the visit this time? Let me tell you more about it! A statement has been issued by China and the Philippines on 21st Nov. China will speed up the process of certification and expand the import of more the Philippines tropical fruits and other high-quality agricultural products.
